Terms of Use

Last updated: May 2026

The French version prevails in case of discrepancy.

1. Service overview

Possa is a service that converts crypto-assets (Bitcoin Lightning, USDT BEP-20) into CFA francs (FCFA), allowing a sender to transfer funds from anywhere in the world to a recipient holding a Wave or Orange Money account in Côte d'Ivoire.

Possa is published by BlockLead, reachable at .

2. Acceptance of the terms

Using the Possa service implies full and complete acceptance of these terms of use. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use the service.

3. Access and usage conditions

The service is available to any adult individual holding a valid crypto wallet. No sign-up is required.

The user agrees to:

  • Use the service exclusively for legal and lawful purposes
  • Not use Possa to launder money, fund illicit activities or circumvent international sanctions
  • Provide an accurate and valid recipient number
  • Send the exact crypto amount indicated within the allotted time (15 minutes)

4. Anti-money laundering (AML)

Possa is firmly opposed to money laundering and terrorism financing. In line with the recommendations of the GAFI (Financial Action Task Force) and the regulations in force within the UEMOA zone, Possa reserves the right to:

  • Block any suspicious transaction without notice
  • Report suspicious activities to the competent authorities (CENTIF)
  • Retain transaction logs for regulatory traceability purposes
  • Refuse service to any user whose funds appear to be of illicit origin

Using Possa for money laundering purposes is strictly prohibited and exposes the user to criminal prosecution.

5. How payment works

For each transaction, the user has 15 minutes to send the indicated crypto-asset amount to the generated address. After this time, the transaction is automatically cancelled.

Bitcoin/USDT to FCFA conversion rates are calculated in real time from Binance market data. These rates may vary between the creation of the payment and its confirmation.

Possa cannot be held liable for confirmation delays related to blockchain networks (Lightning Network, BSC).

6. Liability

Possa disclaims any liability in the event of:

  • An error in the recipient's phone number entered by the user
  • An incorrect or insufficient crypto amount sent
  • Delay or unavailability of third-party blockchain networks
  • Temporary unavailability of the service for maintenance
  • Loss of funds caused by sending on the wrong blockchain network

In the event of a confirmed technical issue on our side (crypto payment received but FCFA not sent), the user may contact support at for a refund or a manual resend.

7. Personal data

Possa only collects the data strictly necessary to process transactions: the recipient's phone number (masked in the logs), the sender's crypto address, and the amount and timestamp of the transaction.

This data is retained for a minimum period of 5 years in accordance with financial traceability obligations, and is never sold to third parties.

For any request regarding your data, contact .

8. Changes to the terms of use

Possa reserves the right to modify these terms of use at any time. Changes take effect as soon as they are published on the site. It is the user's responsibility to review the terms of use regularly.

9. Governing law

These terms of use are governed by the law applicable in the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire and within the UEMOA zone. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Abidjan.
